The CSIA is working to protect innovation and competition in the Canadian software industry, and is concerned about the new copyright legislation being introduced by Jim Prentice, Canada's Industry Minister.

Private Applications

We recently set up and started hosting two private sites for sports organizations. These sites allow managers and coaches to publish information and communicate with their teams using a variety of tools including syndication of content.

St. Thomas Aquinas

The new web site for St. Thomas Aquinas high school in North Vancouver features significant improvements including daily announcements, weekly news, a monthly email newsletter, integrated calendar, and a fresh design.

Christ the Redeemer

The new website for Christ the Redeemer parish in West Vancouver replaces the blog-based site previously used, and allows the office staff to improve communications and offer online services to parishioners.

Support Added

A Support section has been added to our site with screencast movies, user manuals for downloading, and links to community documentation and support such as forums and chat.

Building Web Pages & Using Plone Effectively

For those who need to delve into the code occasionally, a tutorial has been added to the Support section to help beginners work with the HTML and CSS that is used for all web pages. There is also a link to Learn Plone, with resources for using the CMS effectively.
